Buttermilk

The kids and I just started reading Little house in the Big Woods last night. I read the first chapter and tonight Jane read to Josh and I. The twins usually wake up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom and stubble drunkenly toward the bathroom totally asleep. Tonight Jane used the bathroom but then started to cry, and forgetting that she had already gone sat on the toilet again. Jane is sitting there crying, totally asleep when she says " but where are we going to find the Buttermilk!" After convincing her that we can look for the buttermilk I got her back in her room where she desperately wanted to know "when are we going to do the churning?". I love that Jane is having Little House on the Prairie dreams.

Dress up

I bought Jane and I fancy new aprons. I love that Jane chose to accessorize it with her Great Grandma Holmes' scarf.
