Bath Time
Elliott is so BIG! We took him in for his two month appointment and he is 25 inches and 14.9 lbs. The twins were little for so long, it feels like he wont be a baby for much longer. He is already wearing 6-9 month clothes, yikes! Thankfully he is really snugly and loves to smile and talk to us. We are so blessed that he is so healthy and all went well with the pregnancy and his birth.

Oh the 80's
Jane and I went on a "mother daughter date" tonight. We ate at Sensuous Sandwich for dinner and then I took her to get her hair cut. The last time I cut her hair it was okay, but honestly nobody should really let me cut their hair, ever.
My kids don't really have a whole lot of choice in the matter however. I usually just corner them with scissors or the buzzers and hold them down. Josh calls this the "hurty hair cut" because one time I accidentally nicked his ear. What, it could happen to anyone. Though, I am trying to remember that these "hair cuts" will live on in legend and in song, not to mention in pictures over the years. I should either get some practice or take them to someone who knows what they are doing. Hmm.
On the other hand, a bad hair cut seems to be a rite of passage of childhood, it makes kids more empathetic to those around them, no?
Clearly I had deep empathy for other people's suffering as a child.
