Welcome to the Jungle
Kgördee and I are getting ready to head out on our second snorkeling tour of our trip. We are missing our kids so much, I think this will be our last long trip without them. It just too hard to leave them, even if we are leaving them with family. Thank you everyone!

Safety First
Josh and The Boodles love the craft room. Josh because he wants to be making a craft 24-7 or he wants to work on one of his ma-ventions (ma-ventions are a big part of Josh's day) and Elliott loves the craft room because he likes to wear my safety glasses and there are twenty-seven thousand things to get into.
South Fork
The kids had a great time at South Fork tonight. Well, for the five seconds we were actually there. We got a late start on our picnic and we forgot sweaters as it was still quite warm on Provo's west side. The canyon was rather chilly and about fifteen minutes after we got to the park Elliott stepped into the inch of water around the drinking fountain. His poor little shoes and pants were soaking so we decided to try again tomorrow.

Hello, my name is Simon
Jane was so excited each time she finished a drawing that she would come and get me. I love that Jane loves to draw and likes to give lengthy explanations of her work.
Other things I like about Jane:
She has the ability to turn any menial task or awkward situation into material for her songs.
Also, she seems to be living in her own personal musical, only without any professional filming. Though there is still a fair amount of "jazz hands" .
And
Tonight while saying family prayers she mentioned tiaras twice.

Shoey Mc Shoezerson
Elliott loves shoes! He spends a good portion of every day trying on and walking around in all of our shoes. I love watching him toddle around the house in the twins shoes but my favorite shoes for Elliott to don are my shoes or Kgordee's shoes. Maybe it's that the shoes are about half as long as he is tall but he just looks so cute. He also gets very excited about putting on his own socks, because that must mean the shoes will be put on next, right?

First Day of School
The kids had their first day of school yesterday. I never thought that this day would come, I can't believe they are in Kindergarten. Josh has been telling me he just wants to stay with me and that he will miss me if he goes to school. He has been very nervous about starting school and has been informing us for the last few months that he is not going.
Yesterday morning he came out of his room all dressed and ready to go, and he was very excited. By the time we got to school he wanted to walk in by himself so he could "show Jane where their class is". After he got into his classroom he left Kgordee and I for dead, he didn't even notice that we were there for a few minutes making sure they were settled.
Jane was great, she found one of her friends from preschool and let the teacher know that she wanted to sit by her. Bless their teachers heart she moved kids around so that Jane could sit with her friend.
Josh and Jane both had a hard time coming out of class, Josh because he thought he left his monster sweater in the room and Jane because she was frumpy she couldn't take the bus home. We found Josh's sweater and went home, though neither of the twins were very excited to talk about school. When we asked them about it both said they liked their class, teacher and the kids but they didn't seem very impressed.
Today the kids had a little more enthusiasm for school so we will take that as a good sign.
