Happy Happy, Joy Joy! I really can't contain myself, I'm so excited to have the fence up!
Elliott and I spent the morning in the yard getting things cleaned up and moving thing back into place. Within minutes Elliott was helping me water the plants, himself and anything that looked remotely dry. He quickly moved on to the compost buckets and things just got messier from there. It was great, I love this yard!

Jane's Prayer
Last night Jane's bedtime prayer included a few memorable quotes.
1. "Please bless the boy at school who doesn't have any friends - that he can make one."
2. "Please bless that tomorrow we can just watch a movie in English."
(They've been watching movies in Spanish lately to supplement their Spanish Immersion that they're doing at school.)
3. Please bless the pirates. That they'll be nice and share their gold.
I never get tired of listening to our kids prayers!

Captain Amazing
Elliott loves to dress up, pillow case capes, shoes, hats, or Josh's night shirt jauntily placed around his shoulders for a touch of upper crust snootiness.

Chicken Run
Yesterday I walked over to the coop and saw that all of the chickens were in their little house even though it wasn't dusk yet. They almost never go in their coop unless it is rainy or the kids are heckling them.
I opened up the coop and I felt like I walked in on something I wasn't (as a human) suppose to see. The chickens were all staring at me as if I had just interrupted a meeting of the minds or a scene from Chicken Run were the chickens are interrupted by the the farm hand and just pretend to be stupid chickens. "Nothing to see here, just us chickens!" It was a little strange and a lot creepy.
