Fancy pants getaway

Kgördee took me to the Montage in Park City for one last over nighter before the big day. We had a really nice time, the room was beautiful and the view was spectacular! We ate at Apex, the hotel's restaurant and even though the food was pretty disappointing we enjoyed the time together as always.
Today we started out with an awesome breakfast at the Main Street Deli, simple fare but delicious. We went to SLC for an IMAX 3D showing of Star Trek and ended our adventures at Chipotle with yummy burritos. I never get enough time with Kgördee! Thank you sweetie for the fun trip!!!

Car Seat Canopy

I saw this car seat canopy at my Nephew's Baptism a few weeks ago. I liked it so much I asked the woman caring it where she found the fabric. (Amazon)
I found a really easy tutorial online and then it only took me about 2 hours to make it once the fabric arrived. Though I think most people could finish it faster, I love how it turned out. This is my favorite kind of sewing project, simple with instant gratification!

It's Boodles Birthday and He'll sleep if he wants to

We had a little family party for Boodles tonight. Just after we started serving food Boodles told Kgördee he didn't feel good. I sat on the grass and snuggled him until he feel asleep and then K helped me put him in Jane's bed.
Poor little Boodles slept through most of his party and I had to wake him up for the cake. Boodles scowled at everyone through most of his Birthday song and Jane had to step in and blow out his candles. After a good rock in Amelia's room he was ready for cake, ice cream, and a hot dog.
The party turned out well and no one has barfed yet. Boodles loved his cake even though the wormies didn't taste very good.
