Boodles and Sunny

Boodles hanging out with Sabrina's dog Sunny.

Organizing the office

This is my favorite room in the house, it is my escape, my playroom and sometimes the thing that keeps me sane. I finally mounted my peg board to the wall along with a few other things I have been meaning to get to. This room will only stay clean for a few minutes but I love that for now everything has a place.

New Boppy Cover

Just made a couple minor tweaks...

It's far from perfect but it's done and other than putting the zipper in a very inconvenient location I'm pretty happy with it. I made a wonky pattern from the cover I used with Ell and improvised the panel that goes in the center of the curve, and Na Na, it works!
The Bee is more discerning than I am so we might have had words about the finished product. But then I told her to be quiet and keep her opinions to herself and she totally did. I think she likes it:)

Baby Bee

The Bee

I love this little onesie, the other kids all wore it too. I love the bugs on it and the memories it brings back of holding the Twins and Ell. Watching them having tummy time, struggling to pull their little heads off the blanket. I know it's blue but it makes me happy when she wears it.

Just in case you missed her

To Russia with Love

A few more of these and my Mom and Dad will be home!

Coming to a porch near you

They lovelies made the rounds in the cul-de-sac last week. If you are one of the lucky ones, I'm very sorry but the kids must love you very much!

Sunday afternoon at Jones Cottage

The kids love Grandma and Grandpa's house but Grandma always makes it special with something fun for the kids. Yesterday it was yummy banana bread, creamies, water crayon shooters and huge fly swatter bubble blowers. Grandma's house always has the best toys.
While the kids played with Grandma, Grandpa had some quiet time holding Millie B. They make a cute pair.

Baby Baby Baby!

I finished this practice dress today for Millie B and I love it. I am going to sew a blessing dress for Amelia and I wanted to make sure the pattern is small enough before I cut it out. I made the size 12/18 month pattern a bit smaller and tightened the elastic and it actually fits. Hooray!!! I was so excited to try it on her I didn't iron it, oops.
Millie's blessing dress will be in white cotton lawn if the fabric comes in time. I will make something similar for Jane in linen for her baptism too. I hope I have time for all of that:)

Spanish Camp

Jane's creations from Spanish Camp! If there is one thing my kids can get into it's anything that can't be cleaned out of a carpet. Clay, flarp, play dough, silly putty and anything goo related. This time all the mess was left at school.
I love seeing their creations and then not finding them ground into the carpet later:)
Also, Jane is so cute!

I want to sleep like a baby

Handmade Goodness

Handmade gifts are always the best. Anyone who has been on the giving end of something handmade knows the time and love that went into such a gift. I was so excited to get this beautiful knit blanket from a friend who used to work for Kgördee. I don't know her super well so I was so touched to receive such an amazing gift. Thanks Mrinida, Millie B already loves it!

Lego chair

Who doesn't need a Lego chair?

Boodles is pretty classy

I love it when the kids dress themselves :)

A study of Millie B

When Boodles grows up

"Mom, when I grow up I want to be a policeman. But I still want to live with you."
He would also like me to make his policeman costume and he will need a hose and two pair of rocket boots too.

The Con and the Bee

These two crack me up. Mostly Elliott is very excited and Millie puts up with it.
