After the storm

The biggest tree in our yard came down in the storm. The tree was diseased or infested with something, I'm not quite sure what though. It had a weak spot near the base and the wind was too strong for it tonight. I love the trees in my yard and it feels like each one is a friend. I cried when I saw that it was gone. I will miss you big fella.

Side note. The lizard made it through just fine. He was strapped to the ark.
